The Federation "Exchanges France - Ukraine"

The university cooperates with the Federation "Exchanges France - Ukraine» (FEFU) since 2008. The Federation organizes the agricultural, professional, linguistic, cross-cultural internships for students as well as the linguistic, pedagogical and research internships for teachers. During the internship, students get acquainted with the latest technologies of agricultural production in France, with its culture and traditions and history, take possession of his profession in various enterprises.
Directions of cooperation:

  • organization of residencies and internships in France for students, teachers, researchers;
  • organization of residencies and internships in Ukraine French students of educational institutions partners, representatives of institutions that accept trainees and representatives of the Federation "Exchange France - Ukraine";
  • organization of of any projects aimed at developing exchanges between France and Ukraine in the sphere of competence of each partner;
  • opportunity for Ukrainian students to take a course, which consists of three phases and should help students to facilitate access to the university or specialized higher education in France after graduation in Ukraineм;
  • opportunity for French students and teachers to get acquainted with Ukrainian experience.

ERASMUS+ - is a European Union program which aimed at the international exchange of students (except for 1st year students) and teachers, at strengthening the networking among universities and society in order to improve skills and increasing employment opportunities.
ERASMUS + strengthen activities in the fields of education, youth and sports in two different ways:

  • Mobility

Higher education institutions of the countries partners, including Ukraine, could be a partner university in Europe for organizing projects on mobility for students, teachers and administrative staff.

  • Cooperation Projects

Strengthening of cooperation between higher education institutions and key stakeholders (companies, research institutions, social partners, local / regional authorities and other organizations in the field of education, training or youth policy) in order to promote the quality and the innovation in higher education. To strengthen the structured and long term cooperation between universities and businesses to find innovative ways of production and dissemination of knowledge in projects that aimed at the result, in particular, in new areas.

Stichting Uitwisseling program is intended for students enrolled in the specialty "Agronomics" and provides an opportunity to do practical work on farms (plant, animal, and mixed type) and other countries, in particular in the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Germany, the US and others.
The program consists not only of seasonal work on the farm, but also of conducting own research, collection of information and independent analysis of farming. Although the performance of work under the guidance of the farmer, the control is also carried out by the representatives of Stichting Uitwisseling by using monthly reports witch sent by trainees, as well as direct contact with the students at specially organized meetings.
In addition to gaining experience in the industry, students have the opportunity to improve language skills because communication is carried out in English.

Work and Travel – it’s one of the most popular and massive programs of cultural exchange in the world. The program allows students of universities to work in the US during the summer holidays.
Students generally work in hotels, restaurants, amusement parks and so on. The average salary is about $ 8-9 per hour. The program is not more than 4 months. One of the main advantages of the program is that the students in addition to improving the level of English language and the opportunity to travel around the country can fully recover the funds invested in the program, because the total income of the student for the program could be $ 4-6 thousand.
The requirements:

  • Age 18-23 years
  • Students only stationary form of education (except for fifth-year students)
  • Knowledge of English

DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst – German Academic Exchange Service) – a program that provides scholarships for education, training and research in Germany. t has a very wide range of scholarships for students, teachers, scientists, journalists, artists, and so on.
The main directions of scholarships:

  • Scientific internships for foreign university teachers and researchers. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity for foreign scientists to conduct research and raise qualification in Germany. The purpose of this program is, in particular, support for short scientific training for experience sharing and establishing links with colleagues on a specialty.
  • The repeated invitations of former scholarships DAAD. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity to conduct research and raise qualification in Germany. The purpose of this program is to provide opportunities for former scholarship holders in the framework of a worldwide network of former scholarships DAAD in Germany to implement research and development projects and maintain contacts with colleagues.
  • Scientific scholarships – short scholarships. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity for foreign graduate students and young scientists to conduct research and raise qualification in Germany. The main purpose of this program is to support the 1-6-month research projects in the framework of writing dissertations.
  • Scientific scholarships – yearly scholarships. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity for foreign graduate students and young scientists to conduct research and raise qualification in Germany. The main purpose of this program is to support the 7-10-month research projects in the framework of writing theses.
  • Scientific scholarships – the complete postgraduate studies in Germany. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity for foreign graduate students and young scientists to conduct research and raise qualification in Germany. The purpose of this program is to support graduate studies in Germany.
  • Scientific scholarships – the postgraduate study with double scientific guidance. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity for foreign graduate students and young scientists to conduct research and raise qualification in Germany. The purpose of this program is to support the writing a dissertation at the University at home with research phases in Germany. Scientific guidance in this case is as a lecturer at the University at home of searcher and research partner in Germany (model "Sandwich").
  • Scholarships for study for university graduates of all specialties. This scholarship program offers the opportunity to continue your academic education in Germany at the postgraduate program.
  • Scholarships for study for foreign graduating students in the field of architecture. DAAD scholarships offer the opportunity for foreign graduates in architecture, interior architecture, monuments protection, planning / building of towns, regional planning, landscape architecture and landscape planning to continue their studies in Germany at the postgraduate program.   • Scholarships for study at Masters Sustainable Development programs (EPOS). With its programs for training in the Master in Sustainable Development DAAD supports the getting an education for specialists of the developing countries and countries with transition economies. Scholarships offer to foreign graduates from developing countries and countries with transition economies of all scientific fields with at least two years of professional experience the opportunity to learn in a state or state recognized German university postgraduate or Master's program, in exceptional cases and on post-graduate program and get a degree in Germany (Master / PhD).

Ivan Vyhovsky Prize was founded by the University of Warsaw in cooperation with eight Polish higher education institutions, in order to acknowledge the citizens of Ukraine merits in development of science, culture and public life, building a democratic state and civil society to create, study, historical, modern, and the formation of future Ukrainian relations Ukraine with Poland and Europe.
Every year, this prize is awarded two Ukrainian scholars representing the humanities and the natural sphere. Laureates in the humanities have the opportunity to a 12-month internship in six Polish universities, where they will give lectures on topics related to the history and present of Ukraine, the Ukrainian-Polish relations, work in the archives and carry out scientific research.
The representatives of the exact sciences have the opportunity to four-month internship and research in the two Polish universities. Selected higher education institutions provide the winners of a monthly scholarship in the amount of PLN 3,000 for Candidates of Science and 2200 PLN for candidates without a scientific degree; they are also cover expenses for the accommodation and food, represent the scientific advice and other assistance during the stay, providing the scientific literature and so on.

Fulbright Program, sponsored by the US government takes a leading place in the system of international education. During the existence of the Program in Ukraine – in 1992 – about 900 Ukrainians have learned, worked on probation, conducted research in the US; in its turn more than 530 Americans were taught in Ukrainian universities and were engaged scientific work.
Most of the Fulbright programs cover the cost of tuition at the university, health insurance, travel expenses in both directions and provides a monthly stipend. Postgraduate students also receive additional money for the purchase of professional literature.
There are a large number of proposals:

  • For graduating seniors, graduate students and young professionals

Fulbright Graduate Student Program: provides study grants for students to complete 1- or 2-year academic programs for a Master of Arts or Sciences degree or non-degree programs at U.S. universities.

  • For junior faculty and researchers

Fulbright Faculty Development Program:provides opportunities for scholars and professionals to conduct research, engage in course and curriculum development. The competition is open to persons in the age to 40 years old with two years of professional experience: teachers; graduate students and researchers who do not yet have a scientific degree; candidates of science (not later than 5 years after the defence); administrators of higher education institutions; employees of research institutions; journalists; specialists in libraries, museums and archives; experts in the field of cultural management; employees of public organizations.

  • For candidates of science and doctors of Sciences, junior researchers and postgraduate students

Fulbright Scholar Program: offers research opportunities at the U.S. universities and research institutions for a period from 3 to 9 months. The competition is open to candidates participate and doctoral degrees; culture, on library specialists, journalists and lawyers; researchers without a scientific degree with work experience of at least five years; graduate students on the eve of protection that will get a degree before the start of the grant.

  • For Ukrainian academic institutions of higher learning and research institutions who wish to host U.S. scholars and specialists

U.S. Fulbright Scholar Program:Ukrainian educational institutions can invite Americans in any areas of expertise to deliver lectures from 1 to 2 semesters during the academic year. U.S. Scholars can apply to lecture at Ukrainian institutions of higher education, lecture and conduct research, or conduct research on a topic of their choice.
Fulbright Specialist Program: Ukrainian educational and research institutions can invite U.S. faculty and professionals to collaborate with their counterparts on curriculum and faculty development; institutional planning; participation in conferences, seminars, and workshops; and intensive teaching activities with students and faculty. The program awards grants ranging from 2 to 6 weeks.
From August 2013 to June 2014 our university teacher Sergei Hromachenko held internships at the State University of Michigan , United States. He was assigned to the department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, university department - College of Engineering. Topics of study - Environmental protection in the zone of landfill waste. Scientific adviser - Professor Khire Milind.

The Program takes place within the two-semester training in higher educational institutions of Poland and 2-4 week internship in a public or private organizations for candidates from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Moldova, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Fields:

  • Economics and Management;
  • Administration / Management;
  • Public Administration;
  • Law;
  • Social Sciences (Social Psychology, Sociology);
  • Political Science and International Relations;
  • Development Policy and Humanitarian Aid.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Citizenship and permanent residence in one of the targeted countries (holders of permanent residence card in Poland are ineligible);
  • Master’s degree;
  • Up to 35 years of age (in special cases up to 40);
  • Polish language proficiency adequate to effectively attend lectures and seminars and prepare a diploma thesis; or English - for candidates who select a specific study program with English as language of instruction (in such cases basic knowledge of Polish language is still required). During the interview candidates are required to speak Polish at least at the B1 level (diploma thesis written in Polish) or at least A1 (diploma thesis written in English).

Applications must be sent until 1 March 2016.

The program CEEPUS "Central European Exchange Program for University Studies" – university exchange program in Central Europe is a regional academic mobility program, which began its work in Central and Eastern Europe in 1993. The founders of CEEPUS were universities in Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia. Later to him was joined by Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia. CEEPUS is also working with the University of Kosovo. So today CEEPUS operates in 16 countries.
The participation of our young scientists and graduate students in the summer school is free, as all costs takes on the Polish side. Students pay only the cost of the road.
During the summer school is planned to hold lectures on specialized subjects, which will be combined with the rest. During the learning process meets the scientific community that will attract young scientists for joint research. Summer school participants will receive tips and advice on the organization of research work, visit laboratories and Laser Center of the Polytechnic Świętokrzyskie.
After graduation internship participants will be awarded certificates of graduation in the summer school.

Agricultural training farms in England and Scotland. The program allows students that are studying in the agricultural profile to have practice from 3 to 6 months in the UK farms. The work associated with the harvest on farms UK.
In the HOPS program may take part only students stationary form of education (except fifth-year students). .
The program is an annual – from 1. January to 31. December. Within this period you can choose convenient for you period of work not less than 8 weeks. The maximal period on which you can be staying, and within which you can work on the farm is 6 months.
Organization of the work depends on the features of the farm: working mostly 6 days a week from 7.00 am to 17.00 pm. In peak season the work can be as overtime, it pays a higher salary, and no weekends at all. There may be times when there is no work or very few (often through weather conditions). The average number of working hours per week is from 35 to 80. Forced downtimes are not paid. Many students use this time for excursions and travels in the UK.
In the workplace, there are certain requirements for discipline and order; the student can be dismissed for violation of labor discipline, bad workand for systematic absenteeism.

The scholarship program Copernicus (Copernicus Stipendium) supports young people from Eastern Europe. Each year according to the program comes scholarship holders from Eastern Europe. They can choose one of three universities – Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Hamburg and Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
To applicants for Copernicus Scholarship are presented several requirements. The two completed courses at the home university and the good knowledge of the German language. Not the last role is played a motivation letter of the program participant. The student must convince the selection committee in that the semester on exchange expands his horizons. The organizers also pay attention to the student's activity in public life.
ЗApplication for the scholarship may apply students’ humanitarian faculties – journalists, historians and sociologists and students of political science, law and economics. Foreign students have the right of free choice of lectures and seminars. Scholar makes an individual plan attending classes. During training they need to pass at least two exams.
The annual application deadline:
1. September for participation in the program begins in April.

APOLLO – a non-profit organization that does not make profit on trainees, and all work is carried out with the agreement and the financial support of the Ministry of Agriculture of Brandenburg. Practice is carried out on the agricultural enterprises of the federal land Brandenburg. Three seminars during the period of practice complement program. Agricultural practices in Germany – is:

  • 4 months of work at one enterprise, from beginning June to beginning October.

  • Good knowledge of German or English language (B1);

U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine was founded in 1992 when Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk and American President George Bush signed a bilateral agreement about launching the US Peace Corps in Ukraine.
Since then the Peace Corps has worked with many progressive organizations. American volunteer live and work side by side with Ukrainian during the two years and they will share experiences and developing relationships that often last a lifetime.
Projects:

  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language

Volunteers teach English in secondary schools, universities and teacher training colleges and the institutes provide training in postgraduate education teachers. Volunteers assist teachers to expand the range of teaching methods in the classroom and help students acquire language skills that will help them to be successful both in further education and a future career.

  • Development of young people

Volunteers work in high schools and colleges and cooperate with local departments of Family, Youth and Sports to provide young Ukrainian assistance necessary for success in a career and in life. They give lessons in schools, extracurricular activities, and conduct community projects. Promote healthy lifestyles, promote the development of skills in information technology, business, leadership, civics, environment and career development.

  • Development of Commons

Volunteers mainly work with non-governmental organizations, local governments, by local executive authorities and businesses. Volunteers contribute to the social and economic development at the local level. Volunteers contribute to the social and economic development at the local level. Volunteers aim is to increase the competence of community members and service providers to promote sustainable development of local organizations and interbranch cooperation between the public, government and private sector.
