== EXTRAMURAL WORK OF THE DEPARTMENT ==
* project development of cascade of decorative ponds in the Park. T. Shevchenko, Rivne;
* improvement and regulation river Ustya within the city of Rivne;
* scientific substantiation of engineering measures on reconstruction of the existing gateway-regulator that is part of the Basìvkut hydrotechnical complex;
* reconstruction of the valve gate on the river Ustya near the train station, etc.

At the Department there are post-graduate and doctoral studies. They train higher qualifications at the full-time and part-time doctoral programme in specialty “Hydraulics and engineering hydrology”.
